Brussels may be Europe's capital, but who gets to live here, and who gets pushed out of neighbourhoods they've called home for generations?
Affordable, safe, and stable housing is increasingly out of reach for many people, including students, newcomers and low-income families. And where we can afford to live shapes our access to our communities and to city life itself.
On 5 October, we’re taking that conversation to street level.
Join us for a walk through Rempart des Moines to explore social housing, displacement, and affordability, with insights from Alexia Falisse, who works on these issues in Brussels.
And the conversation doesn’t end with the walk. We’re also supporting the European Citizens’ Initiative for the Right to Housing, calling for ambitious European action on the housing crisis.
