Sandra Cavallo (1973) is a digital communication professional since 1998, having worked with international organisations (UN, EU), the Italian public broadcaster Rai and other employers in several European countries. In her work, she has focused on citizen engagement, gender equality, inclusion, as well as the fight against disinformation and the increasing polarization of the information space. Sandra is a member and supporter of Volt since its foundation, sharing its drive for justice, human rights and a more fair and inclusive society. Originally from Rome, Italy, Sandra has lived in Sweden, Ukraine and Moldova before settling in Belgium. With her husband and two kids, she has lived in Belgium for over 10 years.
